The BPM Festival – Mexico

BPM is an annual electronic music festival held in Playa del Carmen. The music festival began in 2008 and every year it continues to grow in sheer size and popularity. Last year 35,000 music fans attended and David Guetta even performed in 2012 for their New Year’s Eve show.!!! I could hear the lovely sounds from my bedroom window 🙂 There have been many guesses as to the meaning behind BPM such as ‘beats per minute’. But the actual acronym stands for Bartenders, Promoters, and Musicians as it was originally created as an industry event for those in the hospitality industry.
